What is your education background?

University of Idaho, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (1997)

Have you ever filed bankruptcy for yourself or for your business? If yes, please tell us when and the circumstances.

Have you been convicted of any misdemeanor or felony charges? (Traffic citations not included) If yes, what were the convictions and the circumstances?

No, but I believe my opponent and her cronies should be held accountable for violations of the Idaho election law.

Have you served in the military? If so, when, for how long and for what branch?

Have you been a candidate in any other elections? If so, what and when?

Yes, I ran against John McGee for District 10 State Senator in 2010 and I ran against Gayle Batt for District 11 State Representative in 2012.

Are you involved in any community causes or organizations? If so, what are they and why?

Yes, I have been involved with religious, volunteer, and political organizations, including holding leadership positions.

Please name the organizations or groups that have endorsed you so far in this election. Also please list any conflict of interest situations that you would face if elected.

What do you consider your greatest accomplishments?

My family

What kind of legislation would you support that would help increase wages in Idaho?

I would support legislation that repeals any and all regulations and taxes that curtail the operation of a completely free market.  Wages should be left to free market forces, not dictated or influenced by government.

Which components of the Governor's Task Force on Education recommendations do you most support, and which do you most oppose? Do you support Gov.Butch Otter's plan to implement them in a 5-year plan, or should it be done in a more timely manner?

I do not support any of them because they are all made relative to an acceptance of public education.  If we truly care about the quality of education, we need to understand that public funding and control is the problem, not the solution.  We need to recognize and support the God-given responsibility of parents to educate their children by returning public education back to the private sector.  I have a plan to do that.

Would you support a tax on purchased made online as a means of leveling the playing field for Idaho's brick-and-mortar businesses?

If we want to level the playing field, how about we stop taxing the brick-and-mortar businesses instead of expanding taxes to include online businesses.

Should Idaho continue implementing Common Core standards, or should the state reject them? Please explain why or why not.

The state should absolutely reject the standards.  The proper role of government at any level does not include exercising control over the education of children.

What's your take on public defense reform in Canyon County and throughout Idaho?

The public defender contract was ill advised, at best.  However, the "reform" will simply perpetuate ideas that provide no one with justice.  I advocate a complete reform of our entire judicial process.  The state has usurped the rights of both victims and the accused, and it is time to restore those rights.

Do you support sending the mentally ill and chemically dependent to treatment centers instead of jail/prison?

Jail and prison sentences, as well as fines, have become the norm, rather than focusing on compensating victims.  A crime, meaning a violation of an individual right, must have a victim.  We need to stop prosecuting "victimless crimes".  Those who are convicted of crimes should receive sentences that provide justice to the victims.

What to you think can be done to limit methamphetamine trafficking through Canyon County and the Treasure Valley?

I think that government needs to get out of the business of controlling substances and recognize that the "war on drugs" is a sham.  Parents, religious leaders, and others can teach the truth about drug use, which will have a greater influence and more lasting impact than any amount of government intervention.

Did you support Gov. Butch Otter's position on establishing an Idaho health insurance exchange? Why or why not?

No, the state exchange simply implements Obamacare, which is clearly unconstitutional.  We should instead stand up as a state and nullify the unconstitutional acts of Congress and the federal administration.

Would you support a bill to allow communities the opportunity to vote on projects via a local option tax?

No, I do not believe we need to create more opportunities to raise taxes.  We need to focus on reducing spending instead.

A transportation task force in 2010 estimated in will take about a quarter of a billion dollars annually to fund needed road improvements in Idaho. How much more money do you believe the state should add to its transportation budget, and how should the state go about raising it?

Idaho has the funds and resources needed (see Idaho's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) to maintain public works and assets until they can be assessed against the proper role of government and divested as needed as we work to reduce the size and scope of state government.

What should Idaho do about Medicaid expansion?

I support eliminating all welfare programs, including Medicaid.  Welfare programs use the force of government to redistribute wealth, which is legalized plunder.

Do you believe Idahoans' Second Amendment rights are threatened? If so, how?

Our right to keep and bear arms is a God-given right, not a right that derives from the Second Amendment.  It is not just threatened, but has already been violated by various gun control measures, including provisions in the constitution of the state of Idaho.

What is your stance on the 'Add the 4 Words' protests and the lack of a hearing for that group?

I support the repeal of the Idaho Human Rights Act.
